The elemental band of CSR, Aksumite - revived with a full-lineup, preparing to release a new full-length, convened in the month of Yäkatit to rehearse.
Rather than work on the material that had been prepared beforehand, the Lions of Axum chose to write and record all new material on the spot. Seeking to open a new vein, and let its holy blood pour out across the forgotten spirit of Abyssinia.
Here begins the arc of Axum afresh. A return to Afrika. An epic poem (title to be revealed later), was composed. Canticles put to song. The dawn of Solomonic Aksumite. Ezana’s right hand, gold rings on his fingers, watching over them. These four tracks set the stage for what is to come. The story of the conquest of Meroë, and the greatness of the king who dared to raise the cross over the obsidian highlands and rule The Land of The Moon. Death to the Kingdom of Kush.
